Federalism is a system where power is shared between the central government and regional or state governments. Democracy ensures accountable and legitimate government, respects individual dignity and freedom, and accommodates social diversity. While it may not always deliver fast decisions, economic equality, or perfect development, it allows citizens to participate, debate, and demand better governance, making it superior to non-democratic regimes.
